You can get good rewards and ISK for participation. ANYONE can do it!

Step 0: Select which team you wish to help in the meta challenge. While you get the same rewards either way the 5 teams who collect the most points total get to move on to the next phase. Your participation in this event should not impact your ability to participate in other phases and will not impact your standings in any way. You can monitor the Discord and New Eden News for current score totals.

Step 1: Get a basic salvage ship. Honestly you get credit for just being in the site so a little bit of tank and some salvagers to you can help finish the sites faster is good. Here is an alpha fit for a shield destroyer (Shields are actually worse than armor in these sites). I have also included a punisher that should work as long as you stick with the swarm.

Note: You should be able to get everything you need at most trade hubs, but there is serious market pressure on the equipment used at the moment, so be carful where you source the fit. Members of CoE contact Ashterothi for help if needed.

Step 2: Find the Fleet

Open up fleet finder (Neocom → Social → Fleets) and select “Fleet Finder”

You should be able to see fleets avalable and there should be at least one with a large number in it saying it is for the Drifter Salvage fleet

Step 3: Navigate to the fleets system. The fleet should have the system shown. Right click the advert then “Bosses Location” → “Set Destination” and travel there with the salvage ship.

Step 4: Once in system Right click the Boss in the fleet and warp to him. You should land on the acceleration gate. Activate the gate and go inside. You should be in a room with the rest of the fleet. If anything goes wrong ask in fleet chat to get on grid with the fleet.

Step 5: Once on grid participate by salvaging the 30 wrecks in the site. Try not to be the first to move in any given site to avoid the enemies targeting you. (you shouldn’t be the first in with lower skills)

If the enemies start attacking you keep moving and align to a warp out and warp if your shields get below 30% otherwise continue salvaging until all 30 wrecks are finished. You will see a pay out.

Step 6: MAKE SURE YOU CLAIM YOUR REWARD AFTER EACH SITE IS COMPLETED! You do not need to claim the rewards on the track, only the site completion otherwise you will not continue to earn points.

Step 7: The FC should warp the fleet to the next site. Activate the Acceleration gate when you get there to enter the new site and repeat step 5.
