Loyalty points are rewarded for completing faction warfare activities and sites. They can be used to purchase items in loyalty stores, and the items can then be used or sold for isk.

Loyalty point rewards also depend on the state of the system you’re in. Rearguard systems have dramatically had their rewards reduced to prevent players from “farming” dead-end systems that are away from the action of the front line. Conversely, frontline systems have their rewards boosted slightly to make them worth the extra risk.
