Expectations and guidelines for the PI Manager:
- Develop PI programs for members
- The PI Manager has autonomy in this area and can decide what programs to develop and run for members, with input from Directors as needed.
- The PI Manager is expected to update the dashboard at https://resources.empyreans.org/ for their program
- For example, if the program requires collecting Bacteria from members, the PI Manager needs to adjust the goals on the Resource Dashboard so that members can see at a glance that Bacteria is needed.
- Training on how to use or get edit access to the Dashboard is available if needed.
- Suggestions: build Tier 4 PI, build a needed PI component for capital shipbuilding (ie T2 dreads), etc
- Help educate members on what PI to harvest, and where to harvest it
- Requires communicating with members in discord and in game to answer PI-related questions
- (Optional) The PI Manager may choose to manage the CoE Notion page for PI, if they are interested in editing or improving it.
- Convert low tier PI to higher tier PI for HPDK
- Buyback often takes in Tier 1 PI, which is not useful and not valuable unless converted into a higher tier.
- The PI Manager can buy the low tier PI from HPDK at Jita mid (average of Jita buy and Jita sell) and sell the higher tier back through Buyback (Jita buy).
- This pricing is an exception to Buybackâs normal pricing scheme, and must only be used for converting PI to a higher tier on behalf of HPDK.
- Any profit made by the PI Manager may be kept as compensation and to cover POCO taxes.
- Assist with organizing PI for HPDK
- Requires communicating with Industry Director to determine what they are using or need for industry and reactions.
- Requires moving PI from hangars/delivery to appropriate boxes.
- This responsibility is shared with Industry and Supply.
Note: PI is collected from members through Buyback (HPDK) and sold either to internal CoE programs or sold to external sinks (militia allies, markets, etc).
