Terms

Division

A Division is a major component of EVE Online, and thus the Convocations overall Operations. The Divisions as we see them are.

Program

The combination of all Projects related to a specific Division managed by a Director (I.E. "Industry Program")

Project

A specific intersection of Location and Division. A Project should have set goals and enable Members to engage with those aspects of the game with as little friction as possible. Projects should be as encapsulated as possible.

Ranks

Executor

The head of the Convocation of Empyreans. The executor of the will of the Empyreans. Responsible for overall activity of the Convocation.

Director

Managers of Divisions or Locations of the Convocation. Stakeholders in the Alliance. Most CoE decisions are done by simple majority vote by the Directorate.

Manager

Managers are Staff that are responsible for Project and report to the Location and Division Directors for their Project.

Staff

A member of Staff has been vetted and has at least one of the following roles:

Role Descriptions

Director of Resource Acquisition

Responsible for the establishment and health of all Projects involving the collection of raw resources (Mining, Exploration, Loyalty Points). Ensures Convocation Buyback is healthy and responsive.

Industrial Director

Responsible for the establishment and health of all Projects involving turning things into other things (Reactions & Industry of all kinds). Ensures continued refinement of processes and that common challenges are identified and resources developed to help players understand Industry better.

Director of Supply

Responsible for the establishment and health of all Projects involving the moving, tracking, or selling of Convocation assets. Monitors both internal supply and market demands to aid the Convocation in matching those demands.

Director of War

Responsible for the establishment and health of all Projects involving conflict with other players. Ensures adequate defensive readiness as well as explores combat opportunities such as Faction Warfare and Highsec Wardecs.

Communications Director

Responsible for all affairs that deal with the human element of the Convocation. Recruitment, Mentorship, and Propaganda. Ensures our members have clear communication and the quality of our information and publications.
