Program Description
The Industry Program builds modules, hulls, and consumables for sale on the market and to support CoE activities and defense. The corp provides everything needed - materials (mats), BPOs, and ISK to start the jobs. Scheduled builds happen monthly, and we do additional builds based on demand. Participants are paid for the use of science and manufacturing slots - you push the start button and make money while helping out the corp.
Our primary products are T2 modules, so due to skill requirements, Omega is currently needed to participate in the Industry Program (see the Skill Requirements section below). Participating characters must be in MALRO - most of the process requires access to corp hangars. We are looking for ways to let lower-skilled players and Alphas participate. To get involved, ping @Industry Director
in the discord #industry-program channel and apply for the Industry Program
role at https://www.aideron.org/settings.
Skill Requirements
The skills in each category are listed in priority order.
- Support Skills
- required
- Industry V - lowers industry job time
- Mass Production IV - add 4 manufacturing slots
- Science V - prerequisite for T2 science skills
- Laboratory Operation IV - add 4 science slots
- recommended
- Advanced Industry V - further lowers industry job time
- Mass Production V - add 1 manufacturing slot, prerequisite for Advanced Mass Production
- Laboratory Operation V - add 1 science slot, prerequisite for Advanced Laboratory Operation
- Advanced Mass Production IV - add 4 manufacturing slots
- Advanced Laboratory Operation IV - add 4 science slots
- Supply Chain Management (any level) - increase job control range for manufacturing
- Scientific Networking (any level) - increase job control range for science
- T2 Module Production
- Notes
- each T2 module requires 3 skills to manufacture - an Encryption Methods skill, and two T2 science skills
- the T2 science skills have "Engineering", "Physics", or "Science" in the skill name
- there are patterns for which skills a module needs; for example, shield modules are generally Caldari Encryption Methods, Hydromagnetic Physics, and Quantum Physics
- T2 components are materials used in T2 production - manufacturing each type of component requires a type-specific T2 science skill trained to level III; for example, Crystalline Carbonide Armor Plates require Molecular Engineering III
- we do allow players who are still training to begin T2 manufacturing before invention skills are trained, however, it's important to note that the current payout structure is weighted heavily towards invention - you'll make more money if you do the inventing
- Prerequisites
- CPU Management V
- Power Grid Management V
- Mechanics V
- Manufacture
- required
- the T2 science skills for your product at level III
- recommended
- T2 science skills for T2 components used in your product at level III
- Invention
- required
- the Encryption Methods and T2 science skills for your product at level IV
- recommended
- additional Encryption Methods and T2 science skills will allow the managers to assign you a wider variety of products in case your current assignment becomes unprofitable
- T2 Ship Production
- Manufacturing: the T2 science skills and the Advanced Ship Construction skill for the hull at level III
- Invention: the Encryption Methods and T2 science skills for the hull at level V
- BPO Research
- Notes
- helping the corp research its BPO collection has a separate set of skill requirements
- the Support Skills listed above do apply to BPO research
- the skills in this section are not required for T2 production
- required for most BPOs
- Research IV - job time reduction for Material Efficiency (ME%) research
- Metallurgy IV - job time reduction for Time Efficiency (TE%) research
- required for BPOs with a research time the same as Cruiser or longer
